How much sailing experience do I need?

For the majority of our events no sailing experience is necessary as we will provide two professional crew.

What do I need to bring with me?

Wear multiple layers rather than one thick layer in cold weather.  We provide foul weather gear but wear soft trousers preferably rather than denim.  Bring a hat, gloves and thick socks.  In hot weather make sure you have sun hats and plenty of sun screen. Please make sure your footwear is non-slip (non black soles) either deck shoes/boots or training shoes are best - no flip flops.

What Insurance Do I need?

Everyone joining us is covered by our yacht's insurance for 3rd party liability.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

25% of the booking fee will be retained by Promocean Yacht charter if you cancel within 6 weeks of your booking - after this we retain the full fee.  We reserve the right to postpone if unsuitable conditions are outside of our control - normally we will try to arrange a mutually convenient date to reconvene.
